Possible Causes
Defective flow meter in side water matrix, Blocked water matrix channels, Wiring fault to flow sensor, Air trapped in water system
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power and close the water tap.
- Bleed air: Start a fill cycle, then briefly open and close the door to help purge air from the water matrix. Sometimes this clears minor flow measurement issues.
- Clean water matrix: Remove the side panel to access the clear plastic water matrix/heat exchanger. If channels are heavily scaled or greasy, remove the assembly and flush thoroughly with hot water and vinegar.
- Inspect flow sensor: The flow meter is usually integrated into the matrix. Check its wiring and connector for corrosion or damage.
- Replace flow meter/matrix: If E14 persists and wiring is sound, replace the water matrix/flow meter assembly.
