How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the dishwasher. Water may spill when hoses are removed.
- Clean filters and sump: Remove all filters and check the sump for obstructions. Remove any debris around the pump inlet.
- Check drain hose and sink connection: Detach the hose from the sink trap and flush it. Clean the spigot on the trap.
- Access pump: From the bottom, remove the drain pump, check the impeller for damage or blockage, and ensure it spins freely.
- Electrical test: Measure pump resistance and check for power during drain. Replace the pump if it is open-circuit, seized, or not running when powered.
