Possible Causes
Defective flow meter, Blocked flow meter turbine, Loose connector at flow meter, Control board not reading pulses correctly
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power and water before removing side panels.
- 1. Access flow meter: Remove the left or right side panel (depending on model) to locate the flow meter integrated into the water inlet or side distribution system.
- 2. Clean turbine: Disconnect the flow meter and inspect the small turbine wheel. Remove any debris and rinse with clean water.
- 3. Check wiring: Ensure the connector is firmly seated and the wires are not pinched or broken.
- 4. Replace if necessary: If cleaning does not help and E14 persists, replace the flow meter assembly.
If a new flow meter does not resolve the issue, the main control board may be faulty and should be evaluated by a technician.
