Possible Causes
Household water pressure too high, Faulty pressure regulator in inlet assembly, Blocked pressure chamber causing false reading, Control misinterpreting pressure sensor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power and water supply.
- 1. Check household pressure: If possible, measure water pressure at a nearby faucet. If above manufacturer recommendations (often 0.3–10 bar), install a pressure reducer on the supply line.
- 2. Inspect inlet assembly: Access the side of the dishwasher to locate any built-in pressure regulator or chamber. Clean out debris or scale.
- 3. Pressure sensor: If equipped, test the pressure sensor or switch for proper operation and replace if faulty.
Persistent E17 with normal water pressure may indicate a control board issue requiring professional service.
