Dishwasher shows E17; unit may stop and drain shortly after starting, sometimes with a loud fill noise.

Safety first: Turn off power and water supply.

• 1. Check household pressure: If possible, measure water pressure at a nearby faucet. If above manufacturer recommendations (often 0.3–10 bar), install a pressure reducer on the supply line.
• 2. Inspect inlet assembly: Access the side of the dishwasher to locate any built-in pressure regulator or chamber. Clean out debris or scale.
• 3. Pressure sensor: If equipped, test the pressure sensor or switch for proper operation and replace if faulty.

Persistent E17 with normal water pressure may indicate a control board issue requiring professional service.
