How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before accessing side panels.
- 1. Access regeneration valve: Remove the side panel to locate the small valve connected to the water softener system.
- 2. Inspect and test: Check the valve coil for continuity with a multimeter. Inspect connectors and wiring.
- 3. Clean softener channels: If accessible, flush the softener channels with warm water to remove salt buildup.
- 4. Replace valve: If the coil is open or the valve is stuck, replace it with a compatible Bertazzoni regeneration valve.
If E19 persists, the main control board may not be driving the valve correctly and should be evaluated by a technician.
