Dishwasher does not power on at all; no lights or display, no response to buttons.

Safety first: Before opening any electrical compartments, turn off the circuit breaker.

• Check household power: Verify the breaker is not tripped and the outlet (if used) has power by testing with another appliance.
• Inspect power connection: Remove the toe-kick and access the junction box or cord connection. Ensure wire nuts or terminal screws are tight and no wires are burnt.
• Check door is closing fully: Some models will appear dead if the door switch is not engaged. Confirm the door latches firmly.
• Inspect power filter / noise suppressor: Bosch dishwashers often have a power filter module. Look for burn marks or swelling. Replace if damaged.
• Control board check: If power is present at the control but the display is dead, the main control module may need replacement.
