Possible Causes
Cracked sump assembly, Loose hose clamp, Leaking circulation pump seal, Split drain hose
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and water supply. Use caution when moving the dishwasher to avoid damaging flooring.
- Pull out the dishwasher: Slide the unit out from the cabinet to inspect the underside.
- Run a short cycle while observing: With panels removed, run a brief fill and wash to identify the leak source (do this only if you can do so safely and avoid contact with live parts).
- Tighten clamps: Check all hose clamps at the sump, pump, and heat exchanger. Tighten any loose clamps.
- Replace damaged parts: If the sump is cracked or the pump seal is leaking, replace the sump assembly or circulation pump with Bosch-approved parts.
- Dry base pan: After repair, dry the base pan completely to prevent E15 leak errors.
