Possible Causes

Defective pressure switch, Blocked pressure hose, Clogged sump or air trap, Wiring issue to pressure sensor

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect power and close the water supply valve.

  • Clean sump and filters: Remove the filter assembly and clean the sump area thoroughly. Ensure no food debris is blocking the pressure chamber or small ports leading to the pressure hose.
  • Inspect pressure hose: Access the side of the tub (often left side) to locate the small pressure hose running from the sump/air trap to the pressure switch. Check for kinks, blockages, or cracks. Blow gently through the hose to confirm it is clear.
  • Check pressure switch: With the hose removed, gently blow into the switch and listen for clicks. Use a multimeter to verify the contacts change state when pressure is applied (refer to Bosch wiring diagram).
  • Reseat connectors: Ensure the electrical connector on the pressure switch is fully seated and free of corrosion.
  • Replace faulty parts: If the switch does not respond or the hose is damaged, replace the defective component with the correct Bosch part.
