Possible Causes

High water pressure, Faulty inlet valve not closing fully, Blocked pressure chamber, Incorrect installation of drain hose causing siphoning

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off power and water supply.

  • Check water pressure: Very high inlet pressure can cause overfill. Install a pressure reducer if household pressure is above Bosch recommendations.
  • Inspect inlet valve: Ensure the AquaStop valve closes fully and is not leaking when de-energized. Replace if it drips.
  • Clean pressure chamber: Remove and clean the side heat exchanger/pressure chamber if accessible. Blockages can cause incorrect level detection.
  • Verify drain hose installation: Ensure the drain hose has a proper high loop and is not inserted too far into the standpipe, which can cause siphoning and confuse level detection.
