Dishwasher runs but dishes come out dirty or with food residues.

Safety first: Switch off power before removing spray arms if accessing from below.

• 1. Clean filters and sump: Remove and clean all filters. Wipe out grease and debris from the sump area.
• 2. Clean spray arms: Remove spray arms and flush them. Use a toothpick to clear blocked jets. Ensure they rotate freely when reinstalled.
• 3. Use correct detergent: Use a reputable dishwasher detergent suitable for Brandt dishwashers. Avoid overloading the dispenser.
• 4. Check water temperature: Ensure the hot water supply (if connected) is at least 50°C, or that the heater is functioning (water should feel hot mid-cycle).
• 5. Evaluate circulation pump: If cleaning and detergent changes do not improve results, the circulation pump may be weak and require replacement.
