Dishwasher shows E10 and may not start the selected program, sometimes after a power cut.

Safety first: Switch off the circuit breaker before removing the control panel or accessing the electronics.

• 1. Power reset: Turn off power to the dishwasher for at least 5 minutes, then restore power and try to start a basic program. Sometimes this clears transient E10 errors.
• 2. Check wiring and connectors: Remove the inner door panel to access the control board. Ensure all connectors are fully seated and there are no signs of burning or moisture on the PCB.
• 3. Inspect for damage: Look for burnt components, cracked solder joints, or corrosion on the control board. If present, the board should be replaced.
• 4. Reprogramming (technician level): Some Brandt boards require reprogramming or configuration using manufacturer tools if EEPROM data is corrupted. This must be done by an authorized service center.
