Possible Causes
Blocked pressure hose, Faulty pressure switch, Clogged air trap or side water matrix, Wiring fault between pressure switch and control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dishwasher and close the water tap before removing panels.
- 1. Access pressure system: Remove the left or right side panel (depending on model) to access the side water matrix and pressure switch assembly.
- 2. Clean air trap and matrix: Detach the water matrix and air trap if accessible. Rinse thoroughly with hot water to remove grease and limescale that can block air passages.
- 3. Inspect pressure hose: Remove the small rubber hose between the sump/air trap and the pressure switch. Check for blockages or splits. Clean or replace as needed.
- 4. Test pressure switch: Using a multimeter, check continuity across the switch terminals while gently blowing into the pressure port. The contacts should change state. If not, replace the pressure switch.
- 5. Verify wiring: Ensure the harness from the pressure switch to the control board is intact and firmly connected.
