Dishes come out wet; drying performance is poor even on heated dry cycles.

Safety first: Turn off power before accessing heater or vent components.

• Check rinse aid: Fill the rinse aid dispenser and adjust the dosage setting higher if needed.
• Use appropriate cycle: Select a cycle with heated dry and avoid opening the door immediately after the cycle ends.
• Inspect heater: Verify the heater element is intact and not visibly damaged. If dishes and tub are cold at the end of a heated cycle, test and replace the heater if faulty.
• Check vent: Ensure the door vent is not blocked and the vent fan (if equipped) is operating. Replace the vent fan assembly if it fails to run.
