Possible Causes
Blocked pressure hose, Faulty pressure sensor, Stuck water level float, Control misreading level
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power and water. Be careful when working around sharp metal edges.
- Inspect float: Inside the tub, locate the water level float (if visible). Ensure it moves freely up and down and is not obstructed by debris or dishes.
- Access pressure sensor: Pull the dishwasher out and remove the bottom panel. Locate the pressure sensor and its small rubber or plastic hose connected to the sump.
- Check hose for blockage: Remove the hose and blow through it to ensure it is clear. Clean any soap scum or debris from the hose and fittings.
- Inspect sensor and wiring: Ensure the sensor connector is secure and wiring is intact. If the sensor shows signs of water intrusion or corrosion, replacement is recommended.
- Test operation: Reassemble, restore power and water, and run a short cycle. If F3 returns, the pressure sensor or control board may be faulty and may require professional diagnosis.
