Possible Causes

Closed or partially closed water supply valve, Failed water inlet valve, Clogged inlet screen, Faulty flow meter (if equipped)

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off power and water before disconnecting hoses.

  • Verify water supply: Confirm the under-sink shutoff valve is fully open. Check that household water pressure is adequate.
  • Inspect inlet hose: Look for kinks or crushing behind the dishwasher or under the sink.
  • Clean inlet screen: Shut off water, disconnect the inlet hose at the dishwasher, and clean the screen inside the valve fitting.
  • Listen for fill: Restore power and water, start a cycle, and listen for the inlet valve opening and water entering. If silent and F6 appears, the valve may be failed.
  • Replace inlet valve if needed: Access the valve from the bottom or side, disconnect wiring and hoses, and install a new Café water inlet valve.
