Dishwasher displays PF; cycle may stop and lights may flash after a power interruption.

Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker before inspecting electrical connections.

• Check household power: Verify that other appliances and lights on the same circuit are working. Reset the breaker if tripped.
• Inspect junction box: Remove the lower kick panel to access the dishwasher junction box. Ensure wire nuts are tight and no wires are burned or loose.
• Reset the dishwasher: After stable power is restored, press Start to resume or restart the cycle as per the user manual.
• If PF recurs frequently: Have an electrician check the circuit. If the dishwasher loses power while other loads are stable, the internal wiring or control may be suspect.
