How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off power at the control; no electrical disassembly is required.

  • Deep clean filter and sump: Remove and scrub the filter with hot, soapy water. Clean the sump area with a brush and hot water.
  • Clean door gasket: Wipe the door gasket and folds with a cloth soaked in a mild bleach solution or dishwasher cleaner. Rinse thoroughly.
  • Run cleaning cycles: Run an empty cycle with a dishwasher cleaner or a cup of white vinegar on the top rack, followed by a hot cycle with baking soda sprinkled on the bottom.
  • Improve ventilation: Leave the door slightly ajar between uses to allow the interior to dry.
