Steps to diagnose:

• Measure supply pressure: Use a pressure gauge at the Champion dishwasher inlet to confirm pressure meets the minimum specified on the data plate.
• Check shutoff valves: Ensure all upstream valves are fully open and not partially closed.
• Clean external filters: If a line strainer or filter is installed, shut off water, remove the screen, and clean debris and scale.
• Inspect internal flow switch / sensor: Locate the flow switch or pressure sensor inside the machine. Check for obstructions and verify electrical continuity or signal output.
• Consult plumbing: If building pressure is inadequate, a booster pump or plumbing changes may be required.

When to call a technician: If internal sensors or control logic are at fault, a Champion technician should perform further diagnostics.
