Possible Causes
Partially blocked drain pump, Blocked tank filters, Partially blocked drain hose or sink trap, Incorrect drain hose height or routing
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power before accessing the sump or pump.
- Clean internal filters: Remove and thoroughly clean all tank filters and strainers. Ensure they are seated correctly.
- Inspect sump and pump inlet: Check the sump for debris such as glass, labels, or food waste that could restrict flow to the drain pump.
- Check drain hose and trap: Follow the drain hose to the sink trap or standpipe. Remove and clean the trap. Ensure the hose is not kinked and that the outlet height meets Classeq installation guidelines.
- Test drain pump: Listen during drain phase. If the pump sounds weak or intermittent, remove and inspect the pump for partial blockage or wear. Replace if necessary.
