Safety first: Disconnect power before accessing the pump area.

• Check for foreign objects: Remove tank filters and inspect the sump. Remove any debris that could reach the wash pump impeller.
• Inspect pump impeller: Access the wash pump and remove the impeller cover if possible. Clear any trapped objects and check for broken impeller blades.
• Check pump mounting: Ensure the pump is securely fixed to its bracket and that anti‑vibration mounts are intact.
• Replace pump if bearings are worn: If the noise is a constant grinding or screeching and the shaft has play, replace the wash pump assembly.
