Possible Causes
Failed detergent pump, Blocked detergent suction line, Empty detergent container, Faulty dosing control output
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power. Wear gloves and eye protection when handling detergent chemicals.
- Check detergent level: Confirm the detergent drum or container is not empty and that the suction tube is fully submerged.
- Inspect suction filter and tubing: Remove and clean the small suction filter at the end of the tube. Check the tube for splits or air leaks.
- Test detergent pump: Locate the detergent dosing pump (peristaltic or diaphragm type). Check for leaks and ensure the pump head is not worn out. Manually run a priming cycle if available on the control panel.
- Electrical checks: Measure the pump coil resistance and verify that it receives voltage during dosing (qualified personnel only). Replace the pump if it does not run when powered.
- Recalibrate if needed: Some Classeq models allow adjustment of dosing time. After replacing the pump, recalibrate according to the service manual.
