Possible Causes
Loose or split internal hose, Failed wash pump seal, Failed drain pump seal, Cracked tank or boiler connection
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Isolate power and water immediately. Do not operate the machine until the leak is found and repaired.
- Remove panels: Take off the front kick panel and side panels to inspect the base tray and internal hoses.
- Identify leak point: Run a short fill with panels removed while observing carefully. Look for drips from hoses, clamps, pumps, tank seams, and boiler fittings.
- Tighten or replace hoses: Tighten any loose hose clamps. Replace hoses that are cracked, swollen, or perished.
- Check pump seals: If water is seen around the wash pump or drain pump shaft, the mechanical seal has likely failed. Replace the pump or seal kit.
- Dry base tray and test: After repair, dry the base tray completely and run multiple test cycles to confirm no further leaks.
