Possible Causes
Damaged door or hood gasket, Loose pump or plumbing fittings, Cracked wash or rinse arm, Overflow due to high water level
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power and water supply. Use caution on wet floors to avoid slips.
Step-by-step checks:
- Inspect door/hood gasket: Look for tears, flattening, or gaps in the gasket. Replace if worn or damaged.
- Check wash and rinse arms: Remove arms and inspect for cracks or missing end caps that can spray water toward door seals.
- Examine fittings: Inspect pump unions, hose clamps, and plumbing connections for drips while the machine is running. Tighten or reseal as needed.
- Verify water level: Ensure the tank is not overfilling (see E11). Overfill can cause water to spill out vents or door seams.
When to call a technician: Structural leaks from the tank or frame, or leaks at pump seals, typically require professional repair.
