Possible Causes
Machine not level, Loose mounting feet, Uneven floor, Pump or motor imbalance
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power before adjusting the machine’s position.
Step-by-step checks:
- Level the machine: Use a spirit level on the tank rim. Adjust the leveling feet until the unit is level front-to-back and side-to-side.
- Tighten feet and anchors: Ensure all adjustable feet are firmly in contact with the floor and locknuts are tight. If the unit is floor-anchored, verify anchors are secure.
- Check for loose components: Inspect internal brackets, pump mounts, and panels for looseness and tighten as needed.
- Observe operation: Run a cycle and watch for excessive movement. If vibration persists, the pump or motor may be imbalanced and require replacement.
When to call a technician: Persistent vibration after leveling may indicate internal mechanical issues best handled by a technician.
