Safety first: Use appropriate PPE when handling detergents.

• Check detergent type: Confirm that the detergent is approved for commercial dishwashers and for use with Comenda machines.
• Reduce dosage: Adjust the detergent dosing pump to a lower setting according to the service manual.
• Rinse out foam: Run several rinse cycles with no detergent to clear existing foam from the tank.
• Check water softening: If the machine has an internal softener, ensure it is correctly regenerated and set for local hardness. Very soft water can increase foaming.
