Possible Causes
Defective rinse pump motor, Faulty rinse solenoid valve, Blocked rinse injector or rinse line, Empty or blocked rinse aid dosing system
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and close water supply before opening panels.
- Check rinse aid container: Ensure the external rinse aid canister is not empty and that the suction tube is fully submerged and not kinked.
- Inspect rinse lines: Follow the transparent rinse tubing from the dosing pump to the machine. Look for kinks, air leaks, or crystallized chemical blocking the line. Flush or replace tubing as needed.
- Test rinse pump: Access the rinse dosing pump and verify that the motor runs during the final rinse phase (use a test cycle). If it does not run and has correct supply voltage, replace the pump.
- Check rinse solenoid valve: Locate the rinse water solenoid. Clean the inlet filter and check for scale or debris. Test coil resistance; replace if open or shorted.
- Clean rinse nozzles: Remove the upper rinse arms or injector and soak in descaling solution to remove lime deposits that restrict flow.
