Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Switch off power at the breaker and close the water tap before disconnecting hoses.
- 1. Verify water supply: Ensure the water tap feeding the Constructa dishwasher is fully open. Check that other taps in the house have normal pressure.
- 2. Clean inlet filter: Turn off the water tap. Unscrew the inlet hose from the tap. Inside the hose connector, there is a small mesh filter. Remove it carefully with needle-nose pliers, rinse under running water, and brush off any limescale or debris. Reinstall the filter and reconnect the hose.
- 3. Check for hose kinks: Make sure the inlet hose is not sharply bent or crushed behind the dishwasher or under the sink.
- 4. Test the fill: Turn water back on, restore power, and start a quick program. Listen for the sound of water entering. If E02 reappears and no water is entering, the inlet valve or AquaStop unit may be faulty.
- 5. Advanced check (for experienced DIYers): With power disconnected and side panel removed, locate the water inlet valve/AquaStop module where the hose enters the machine. Inspect wiring connectors for burning or looseness. Do not bypass safety devices.
When to call a technician: If water supply and filters are fine but the dishwasher still does not fill, the inlet valve assembly should be tested and replaced by a professional.
