Possible Causes
Partially blocked inlet valve,Clogged water softener or salt tank inlet,Restricted water matrix channels,Faulty pressure switch calibration
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and close water tap.
- 1. Confirm water supply: Ensure good water pressure at the tap and that the inlet filter is clean.
- 2. Regenerate softener: Check that the salt reservoir has dishwasher salt and that the cap is properly closed. Run a regeneration or intensive program to flush the softener.
- 3. Inspect side water matrix: Remove the left side panel and look for partial blockages in the transparent water matrix. Brown or white deposits can restrict flow.
- 4. Descale the matrix: If heavily scaled, remove and soak in a descaling solution, then rinse thoroughly before refitting.
- 5. Check pressure switch hose: Make sure the hose to the pressure switch is not partially blocked, which can cause the control to think the correct level has not been reached.
When to call a technician: If E05 persists despite good water flow and clean components, the pressure switch or control board may need professional diagnosis.
