Possible Causes

Leak from sump seal or circulation pump,Cracked internal hose,Loose hose clamp,Overfoaming due to wrong detergent causing overflow

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect power and turn off water. Expect water to spill when tilting the appliance.

  • 1. Pull out and inspect: Carefully pull the Constructa dishwasher out of the cabinet. Check underneath for water on the floor.
  • 2. Drain the base pan: Tilt the dishwasher about 45° backwards or sideways over towels to allow water to drain from the base pan. Let it dry completely.
  • 3. Check for foam and overflow: Open the door and look for excessive foam. Using regular dish soap instead of dishwasher detergent can cause overflow into the base.
  • 4. Inspect for leaks: With side panels removed, run a short fill while watching the sump, circulation pump, hoses, and water matrix for drips. Tighten hose clamps and replace cracked hoses as needed.
  • 5. Reset: After drying and fixing leaks, reconnect power and test. If E15 returns quickly, the float switch or base pan sensor may be stuck or faulty.

When to call a technician: If you cannot locate the leak or if the circulation pump or sump seal is leaking, professional replacement is recommended.
