How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety First: This is a control setting, not an electrical fault. You can safely troubleshoot with power on, but do not open panels or access internal wiring while energized.
- Verify control lock: On Cove dishwashers, "CL" indicates the control lock is active. Press and hold the designated lock key (often the Lock or Options button) for 3–5 seconds until the CL indicator disappears.
- Power reset: If CL will not clear, turn the dishwasher off at the control panel, then switch the circuit breaker off for 2 minutes. Restore power and try disabling the lock again.
- Check for stuck buttons: Gently press each button on the user interface to ensure none are stuck or unresponsive. Wipe the panel with a slightly damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
- When to stop: If CL remains on and buttons do not respond after a power reset, the user interface or main control may be faulty. Do not remove the door panel unless you are comfortable working around live wiring; contact a qualified technician.
