Possible Causes
Clogged spray arms, Dirty filters and sump, Low water temperature, Weak circulation pump
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power before removing internal components.
- Clean filters: Remove and thoroughly clean the coarse and fine filters at the bottom of the tub.
- Clean spray arms: Remove upper and lower spray arms. Rinse under running water and use a toothpick to clear clogged jets.
- Check water temperature: Run hot water at the kitchen sink before starting the dishwasher. Ensure incoming water is at least 120°F (49°C).
- Inspect circulation pump: If cleaning does not help and spray pressure seems weak, the circulation pump may be failing and require replacement.
- Use proper detergent: Use a high-quality dishwasher detergent and avoid overloading the racks.
