Possible Causes
Worn or damaged door gasket, Clogged spray arms causing water to spray at door, Overfilling due to float issue, Misaligned door or tub
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power and water supply if an active leak is present.
- Inspect door gasket: Open the door and examine the rubber gasket around the tub opening. Look for tears, flattening, or gaps. Clean with warm soapy water and replace if damaged.
- Check spray arms: Remove and inspect spray arms for cracks or clogged jets that may redirect water toward the door. Clean or replace as needed.
- Verify water level: Run a cycle and open the door mid-fill. Water should not reach the bottom of the door opening. If too high, inspect the float and float switch for proper operation.
- Check door alignment: Ensure the dishwasher is level front-to-back and side-to-side. Adjust leveling legs so the door seals evenly.
