Possible Causes
Tripped household breaker, Loose wiring at junction box, Blown internal thermal fuse, Failed main control board power supply
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Before opening any panels, turn off the breaker and verify power is off.
- Check breaker and outlet: Confirm the dishwasher's breaker is ON and not tripped. If the unit is cord-and-plug connected, test the outlet with another device.
- Inspect junction box: Remove the lower access panel and open the junction box. Tighten any loose wire nuts and look for burned wires. Repair or replace damaged wiring.
- Test thermal fuse: Locate the thermal fuse on or near the control board harness. With power off, test for continuity. Replace if open.
- Check control board power: If comfortable and qualified, restore power and verify that line voltage reaches the control board. If voltage is present but the board is unresponsive, the board may be defective and require replacement.
