How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and remove standing water before working in the sump area.
- Clean filters and sump: Remove lower rack and filters. Clean all debris from the sump area to restore proper flow.
- Locate pressure/flow sensor: On some Crosley models, a small sensor is mounted on the side of the sump with a small hose or port.
- Inspect and clean sensor port: Remove the sensor and clean any grease or debris from the port and connecting hose. Ensure the passage is clear.
- Test sensor: Check resistance or output according to service documentation if available. Replace the sensor if readings are out of range or open.
- Check wiring harness: Inspect the harness from the sensor to the control board for damage or loose connectors.
- Reassemble and test: Reinstall components, restore power, and run a cycle to verify that E14 is cleared and wash performance improves.
