Possible Causes
Clogged Dacor spray arms, Dirty filters and sump, Low water temperature, Weak circulation pump
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power before removing spray arms if accessing from below.
- Clean filters: Remove and wash the Dacor filter assembly thoroughly to restore proper water flow.
- Clean spray arms: Remove upper and lower spray arms. Use a toothpick or small brush to clear blocked jets, then rinse under running water.
- Check water temperature: Run hot water at the sink before starting the dishwasher to ensure incoming water is at least 120°F (49°C).
- Verify detergent and loading: Use high-quality detergent and avoid overloading racks. Ensure spray arms can rotate freely.
- Assess circulation pump: If cleaning remains poor after maintenance, the Dacor circulation pump may be weak and require replacement.
