• Check for obstructions: Inspect the door gasket and tub lip for utensils, racks, or debris preventing full closure.
• Level the unit: Adjust leveling legs so the dishwasher is square in the opening and not twisted.
• Adjust latch and strike: Loosen the screws on the door strike and adjust its position so the latch engages smoothly. Tighten securely.
• Replace latch if worn: If the Dacor latch mechanism is loose or damaged, replace the latch assembly.
