How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Use gloves when cleaning dirty filters and sumps.
- Clean filters and sump: Remove the Dacor filter assembly and scrub with hot, soapy water. Wipe out the sump area to remove trapped food.
- Run cleaning cycle: Place a dishwasher cleaner or a cup of white vinegar on the top rack and run a hot cycle. Follow with a baking soda rinse if needed.
- Improve drainage: Ensure the drain hose has a proper high loop and no sags where water can stagnate.
- Leave door ajar: After cycles, leave the door slightly open to allow the interior to dry and reduce odor buildup.
