Possible Causes
Defective flow meter in Dacor inlet assembly, Mineral buildup on flow turbine, Loose flow meter connector, Control board miscounting pulses
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and water supply before removing the inlet assembly.
- Observe fill volume: Start a cycle and open the door after filling. Water should just cover the filter area. Too little or too much can trigger E14.
- Remove and inspect inlet/flow assembly: Access the left or right side of the dishwasher (depending on model) and remove the Dacor water inlet/flow meter assembly. Look for scale or debris on the turbine wheel.
- Clean the turbine: Rinse the assembly and gently free the turbine so it spins smoothly. Do not use harsh tools that could damage it.
- Check wiring: Ensure the flow meter connector is secure and wires are intact.
- Replace assembly if needed: If the turbine is damaged or the sensor tests open, replace the entire inlet/flow meter assembly.
