Possible Causes

Leak from door gasket, Leak from circulation pump or hoses, Cracked sump or tub, Activated float switch in base pan

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off power and shut off water supply immediately. Avoid tipping the unit if there is significant water inside the base.

  • Pull the dishwasher out: Carefully slide the Dacor dishwasher out from under the counter, protecting the floor.
  • Inspect the base pan: Remove the lower side panels or base cover and look for water in the bottom pan. If present, dry it thoroughly with towels or a wet/dry vacuum.
  • Locate the leak source: With the base dry, run a short fill cycle while observing underneath. Check the door gasket, sump seal, circulation pump, drain pump, and hoses for drips.
  • Replace faulty seals or parts: If you see water at the door, replace the Dacor door gasket. If leaking from the pump or sump, replace the corresponding seal or assembly.
  • Reset leak switch: Once the base is dry and the leak is repaired, the float switch will drop and E15 should clear after a reset cycle.
