Possible Causes
Loose ribbon cable between UI and control, Damaged touch panel, Control board communication fault, Moisture intrusion in UI
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power before removing the door panel.
- Inspect ribbon cable: Remove the inner door panel and check the flat ribbon cable from the user interface to the control board. Reseat both ends.
- Check for corrosion: Look for signs of moisture or corrosion on connectors and clean gently if needed.
- Dry the panel: If moisture is present, allow the panel to dry thoroughly before reassembly.
- If still faulty: Replace the user interface panel. If that does not resolve the issue, the main control board may also require replacement.
