Dishwasher leaks water from the door during wash

Safety first: Unplug the dishwasher and turn off the water supply before inspecting for leaks.

• Inspect door gasket: Open the door and examine the rubber gasket around the tub opening. Look for tears, flattening, or hardened sections. Replace if damaged.
• Clean gasket and mating surfaces: Wipe the gasket and door edges with warm soapy water to remove grease and debris that can prevent a good seal.
• Check spray arms: Ensure spray arms are not cracked and that jets are not blocked, which can cause water to spray directly at the door. Clean or replace as needed.
• Verify loading: Make sure large items are not pushing against the door or deflecting spray toward the seal.
• Test for overfill: If water level seems too high, investigate pressure switch and inlet valve issues as described for E2/E13.
