Dishwasher will not power on at all; no lights or display

Safety first: Do not work on live circuits. Unplug the dishwasher before opening any panels.

• Check outlet and breaker: Test the wall socket with another appliance. Reset any tripped breaker or replace a blown fuse with the correct rating.
• Inspect power cord: Examine the cord for cuts, burns, or crushed sections. Replace if damaged.
• Test mains filter: Access the base and locate the mains filter module where the cord enters. Check for burnt smell or visible damage. Measure continuity through the filter; replace if open.
• Check control board supply: If comfortable and qualified, verify that the control board receives mains voltage and that its low-voltage supply is present. If the board is dead, replacement is usually required and best handled by a professional.
