Possible Causes
Stuck pressure switch, Blocked pressure chamber, Control board misreading level, Siphoning through incorrectly installed drain hose
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance and close the water tap.
- Inspect drain hose routing: Ensure the drain hose forms a high loop and is not inserted too far into the standpipe or sink trap, which can cause siphoning and confuse level detection.
- Clean pressure system: Remove and clean the pressure chamber and hose as described for E2. Ensure no grease or debris is present.
- Test pressure switch: Verify that the pressure switch clicks and changes continuity when gently pressurized. Replace if it does not respond correctly.
- Reset and test: After cleaning and reassembly, run a test cycle. If E13 returns, the control board may require recalibration or replacement by a qualified technician.
