Possible Causes
Defective flow meter, Blocked side water matrix, Loose flow meter connector, Control board input fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and close the water tap before removing side panels.
- Access side water matrix: Remove the side panel to expose the transparent water distribution matrix where the flow meter is usually installed.
- Inspect for blockages: Look for heavy limescale or debris in the channels. If clogged, remove the matrix and soak it in descaling solution, then rinse thoroughly.
- Check flow meter: Locate the small sensor with wires on the matrix. Ensure the impeller spins freely and the connector is secure. Measure coil resistance if applicable; replace the flow meter if readings are out of specification.
- Reassemble and test: Refit the matrix and panel, restore water and power, and run a short cycle. If E14 persists, the control board may not be reading the sensor correctly and may need replacement.
