Possible Causes
Closed water supply tap, Clogged inlet hose filter, Defective water inlet valve, Faulty flow meter or pressure sensor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect the dishwasher from mains power and close the water supply tap before working on it.
- Check water supply: Ensure the building water supply is on and the dedicated dishwasher stop valve (usually under the sink or behind the machine) is fully open.
- Inspect inlet hose: Pull the machine forward if needed and verify the inlet hose is not kinked or crushed. Straighten any sharp bends.
- Clean inlet filter: Close the water tap, unscrew the inlet hose from the rear of the dishwasher, and remove the small mesh filter in the valve connection. Rinse it under running water and reinstall.
- Test fill: Restore water and power, then start a short cycle. If E01 returns and filling noise is weak or absent, the water inlet valve may be defective and should be replaced.
- Advanced check (technician level): Use a multimeter to verify that the inlet valve coil has continuity and that the control board sends 230V (or local mains voltage) to the valve during fill. If voltage is present but no water enters, replace the valve. If no voltage is present, suspect the control board or flow meter/pressure sensor input.
