Dishwasher displays E08 and may not fill correctly or may stop shortly after starting.

Safety first: Disconnect power and close water supply.

• Listen for pump operation: When the cycle starts, you should hear the circulation pump running after filling. A loud hum or silence suggests a pump issue.
• Access circulation pump: Remove the lower front panel or side panels to reach the pump mounted on the sump.
• Check for obstructions: Disconnect the pump from the sump and inspect the impeller for broken glass, labels, or debris. Remove any obstruction.
• Test impeller and bearings: Spin the impeller by hand; it should rotate smoothly without grinding. If stiff or noisy, replace the circulation pump assembly.
• Capacitor check (if external): Some models use a start capacitor. Test it with a capacitance meter and replace if out of tolerance.
