• Measure heater resistance: Disconnect the heater leads and measure resistance. An open circuit indicates a failed heater.
• Check for leaks: Look for water traces around the pump body and heater seals. Any leak usually requires replacement of the entire heater-pump assembly.
• Replace assembly: If the heater is open or the body is leaking, replace the complete unit following service instructions, ensuring all clamps and seals are correctly fitted.
