Possible Causes
Leak into base tray, Stuck inlet valve, Blocked pressure system, Faulty anti-flood float switch
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and close the water tap immediately to prevent further flooding.
- Check for leaks: Remove the lower front panel or side panels and inspect the base tray for water. If water is present, carefully sponge it out.
- Inspect hoses and seals: Look for drips from the sump seal, circulation pump, heater-pump, inlet valve, and internal hoses while briefly running a test (technician only).
- Check float switch: Verify that the anti-flood float in the base moves freely and that its microswitch is not stuck in the activated position. Clean and dry the area.
- Replace faulty components: If a hose, seal, or component is leaking, replace the affected part (e.g., sump gasket, circulation pump seal, or inlet valve).
- Reset error: After resolving the leak and drying the base, restore power and run a test cycle to confirm normal operation.
