Possible Causes
Worn or deformed door gasket, Blocked or cracked lower spray arm causing water to jet at the door, Misaligned door or hinges, Excessive foaming from wrong detergent
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and turn off water before tipping or moving the appliance.
- Check detergent: Ensure you are using dishwasher-specific detergent and not hand dish soap. Excess foam can cause leaks.
- Inspect door gasket: Examine the Fagor door seal around the tub opening for tears, flattening, or gaps. Clean it with warm soapy water.
- Spray arm inspection: Remove the lower spray arm and check for cracks or blocked jets that could redirect water toward the door. Replace if damaged.
- Door alignment: Verify the door closes evenly on both sides. Adjust the leveling feet so the dishwasher is not leaning forward.
- Replace gasket: If the seal is worn, install a new Fagor door gasket, pressing it firmly into the channel.
