Dishwasher makes loud grinding or rattling noises during wash or drain.

Safety first: Disconnect power before reaching into the sump or removing the bottom panel.

• Check interior: Ensure cutlery and dishes are properly loaded and not protruding into the path of the spray arms.
• Inspect spray arms: Spin the arms by hand to check for contact with racks or dishes.
• Clean sump: Remove filters and inspect the sump for glass, stones, or other debris. Remove carefully.
• Access pumps: If noise persists, access the Fagor circulation and drain pumps from below and check for foreign objects or worn bearings. Replace the noisy pump assembly if necessary.
